I’ve always had a passion for the expressive arts. I co-founded the North Beach Jazz Festival, an annual signature event in San Francisco attended by 30,000+ music lovers across 9 days in multiple venues.

Wanting to grow beyond just music with the jazz festival, I founded sf|noir years later, a multi-disciplinary arts organization which celebrated the contributions and innovations of African Americans to arts and culture.

I have been the Director of Marketing & Communications for several youth development, educational, and arts non-profits, including Partners in School Innovation, Marin Academy, San Francisco Conservation Corps, and Intersection for the Arts working on mission, strategy, and execution.

My range of experience and accomplishments span from organization-building and fund development strategies to forming and executing key strategic initiatives for the many non-profits with which I have been affiliated.
